Yes they do, usually a big number between 1 and 5 as well gives you the outline of what to expect.

The only way to be really sure is to have the knowledge yourself and start digging. Just because the avalanche rating is 'Considerable' for the area doesn't mean it won't be higher on a particular slope or lower on another.

Yeh, I have made more foolish impulse buys than skis but the wallet stayed in the back pocket. I signed up to the emails so hopefully I get some good deals in the mail! I figured another pair of skis couldn't hurt this season 8)

Found it, found it. Man I will need to give this some serious consideration.. I have been looking for some cheap bindings but I could never say no to another pair of skis :lol:

Edit 12: I think I have managed to convince myself I don't need them-at least this season. I will hold out I reckon.
