Replace the Mangums:-(; that would be the plan. Have to say they have been a close to perfect ski for me and Chamonix. Fun on-piste, good in shallow/medium powder, versatile enough to plough through the tracked out stuff. Really have been my go to ski almost regardless of conditions. If I'm not touring I'm on them, which seems to be a departure from the trend of using fat skis for everything. Few mm thinner next time as want to try and get a bit more dynamic.

Few clips from some lessons last year, piste, moguls and bit of tracked out (we put the tracks in). If you can only have one ski then they would be a nice option.

Too narrow unless you're racing.

I think will be a very enjoyable piste ski and hopefully pretty lively.
Am going to try and hold out this year. Want new piste skis and boots but will difficult to justify this year as doesn't look like I will be getting much skiing done. Head Supershape I.Speed 170cm, 68mm underfoot are definitely the next purchase. Look the bomb to me.
Really all depends on how much you want to ski together? Are we talking about meeting for lunch or just for Apres ski?
Given the start to the season I thought this might be a nice reminder to all. I don't like to judge as we all get tempted on big days (4/5). Still all on slope at once, giving it plenty over a rollover is definitely not smart.

Not exactly a classic rescue either, even down to the gloves.

Quick question from a lapsed skier

I think you will enjoy the process of testing a few skis. Every new set of skis I have bought in the last 10 years has been a quantum leap in performance and skiability vs the previous model. If you do buy try to get something that is only few years old i.e. only top sheet graphics have changed but has latest engineering incorporated into it.
Didn't mean to offend but have just never heard of anyone buying 10 year old skis. Unless you are planning to deliver them in resort to someone and throw in a ski bag then just don't believe you have a good value proposition.
Same as last year then, still the best!
