We always use the meet and greet at Gatwick, dont even have to phone from baggage reclaim, they watch for arriving flights and bring the car round when you land. Great service. Although I can never understand why they charge soooooooooo much more in Summer than they do in Winter.

Six more sleeps for me.
Hi Dan and welcome, probably a good move to cancel Bulgaria. I love Seefeld/Austria which is great for first timers.

We saw some 'package deals' in a local sports shop and the kids deals were great value. Something like 55 quid for jacket, sallos, thermals, hat, gloves and socks. Great value as they probably need new clothes every year as they outgrow them so quick.

quite, I saw a headline in a UK newspaper recently screaming "14 people die each year from errors in medication", I fancy those odd's ,14 out of some 70 odd million sounds ok to me )

I would say the figures are higher than that. If you included medicines dispensed in Pharmacy, medicines dispensed in hospital, also medicines administered in hospitals, clinics and the worst in nursing homes by unqualified staff.
Here's to hoping I hav'nt or never contribute to those statistics

You still need to be fairly fit to xcountry ski. You probably have less falls, but an awful lot of leg work involved.

Dave Mac wrote:Andy, this has to be a phone call job to Crystals. RoseR did that, I think with Inghams, and she was offered the deal retrospectively, no questions asked. Be polite, but firm, that you expect to be offered this. State that they should be fair.

If you do not get any joy, you state that you wil be sending in an email, and copying it to the travel editor of the Sunday Times.

Then do it. Show on the email that you have copied it.

Yep got the deal I wanted it was'nt lift passes 'tho, just a double dicount offered after the early bird deal. They would'nt honour it first so I spoke to some-one higher and they did'nt hesitate. They said it was because I was a long standing customer, although I had only used them once. So have another go, as Dave says politely but firmly.

Its what we did for our first ever holiday, and the mountains at Axamer Lizum are amazing. Although you stay in the village at Gotzens its a bit quiet but you are not far from Innsbruck, Seefeld, Igls if you fancy any-thing a bit livlier.

How far is it from the village at Gotzens to the slopes? We're pretty fond of the quiet(ish) life so a small village sounds fine for us.
Its about 20 mins on the ski bus which runs every half an hour, its free because you will have the lift passes. But when we were there about 6 yrs ago they were working on some nursery slopes actually in the village. Crystal also organise some trips in the evening as well.
