As the Austria thread, haven't visited any of the others but La Thuile appealed to me to the point it is somewhere I now really want to visit. Eerily quiet on the slopes, options to ski to France. (Paradise of little north faces (sic) is how it was described to me).

I liked Bad Hofgastein, nice ski area too, plenty ground to cover. Queues weren't big at all when I visited in February (don't remember exactly when).

I hear Bulgarian potatoes are far superior to Austrian ones.

My technique doesn't only vary day to day but during the day too. I can start off the day skiing like sh*t and finish out skiing like CJ.
Much in the same way I can go out in 45 on the golf course and make the back holes 1 over par  |

No probs. Just try not to think of 50 as a 'half century'.

I do not have a clue. Far too much time on my hands just now
1976 which makes it 14 years before my time  |

I am just bitter that I've only got 20 acres and you have 43 :D Yeh I know, fair sized farming community round here too although I did visit Devon last year... |

Pretty sure there is a song about that... |
