Nothing to do with the video, but am planning an evening with touring skis, up the mountain, meal and a few beers at the top, and a run down by moonlight/LED.....

Errm, cough, cough......

When you fell, were you skiing slowly? Sometimes, if a fall not dynamic, there can be a slow twisting effect where there is no release, and you can twist a knee. An ankle twist would be more rare, I think.
Next time you are at the venue, see what make of bindings are being used, and then check your DIN setting on the manufacturers website. They do vary. |

I certainly don't expect any skis that I may buy to rise in price!
Read through the patents, seems to me that Rossi's have the upper hand. Moreover, because Armada have initiated the attack, Rossi's seem to have found issues with the Armada patent, which actually is a series of patent claims. I love the legalese in Rossi's claim, "PRAYER FOR RELIEF" I have often felt the same urge...... |

Without the music, I wouldn't have watched the whole thing. Vry strong legs, and his boots must have been nailed to his skis!

There are some areas that have difficult piste maps, eg the schiwelt. Relief piste maps can improve on the standard maps.

Depends largely on your date in March. Early to mid-March generally is good quality snow. The difference at village level is only about 200m. However, they share the same mountain levels. The whole area offers pleasant mountain skiing, and if you want a place to try some first time off piste skiing between runs, this is the area.

Have just realised that one of my sets of skis in Niederau are K2 Merlin! Also, my favourite run is the Maerchenwiess ~ The fairy meadow. Thats magical!
Just a few days left, and I have to formalise. How did I get these magic skis? |
