I am a serial offender at not keeping pressure on my toes. No matter how much I intend to, I just can't. I seem to remember someone on a thread here suggesting that you can put something inside your boot to help with this, maybe a piece of cork tile or something. So would you put it under the heel, or under the toes in order to increase forward pressure? I'm assuming you'd put it under the boot liner? I can't afford to buy custom footbeds and I don't have time/can't afford to visit a boot fitter.
Any comments gratefully received. |

You lot must be really harsh on your clothes! I have a Dare2be ski jacket that I love, bought 5 years ago in Austria on our first trip. It's got just as many features as the more expensive brands, and I love it. Still looks good, despite being worn throughout the winter in the UK and one ski trip per year for the last 5 years. Me and Mr Allie bought salopettes in a sale in Mountain Warehouse - think they're both Trespass brand, didn't cost more than 50 quid and are still going strong, also after 5 years.

The ones hanging in barney's photo are saucisson, more properly saucisson sec. These are salami-type and are for eating without further cooking - delicious. Not to be confused with boudin or andouille which are meant to be cooked and are IMHO minging!
