I would highly recommend the ski school they were fantastic and by the end of the week I was happily skiing down the red runs in the resort. All the instructors were Italian with a fantastic command of English. They definitely push you to improve but at a good pace so that you don't become nervous.

Cervinia is a great resort and I would highly recommend it Caron-a!!
I learnt to ski there and there was plenty of runs for the beginner/intermediate but also there is the mileage to be covered if thats what you want as it links into Zermatt (weather dependent). The night life was good with plenty of live music in the bars. |

Nope that was the temperature outside the front door. Am in Mont-Sainte-Anne (Quebec). Its not so cold today as its only -14 however it is snowing
They are currently holding a 24hour endurance race and overnight the temperature dropped till it started snowing so am guessing they have had a few night  |

How annoying is this.... all because I'm in Canada for the season I can't watch Ski Sunday as BBC iPlayer doesn't work outside the UK.
Only bonus is that the snow and skiing is fantastic out here although its cold!! (-32 yesterday!) |

I was in Soldeu last year and can't remember exact drink prices but think they were just above UK prices...

Am afraid if i win I'll carry on doing what I'm doing just in a bit more luxury....
I will however justify that comment by adding that the year ahead involves a ski season in Canada (if I can get there since I'm currently holed up in a hotel in Newark due to flights being canceled yesterday) I'm then home for a month as my bro gets married and then a trip round the world beckons that will include skiing in Chile/Argentina and NZ!! One difference the money would make is that I wouldn't work next years ski season but spend it playing again before deciding how to make a proper dent in the money!! |

Welcome to the forum.
I was in Passo at Easter last year. Have to say that it isn't my favorite resort but a weeks skiing is a weeks skiing  Its just not a very pretty or attractive resort and all the runs are short and not overly challenging. I believe a 6 day lift pass costs in the region of 143euros. I didn't stay in the Hotel Eden but judging by Icemans comments it sounds pretty typical of what we found in our Hotel. I have to say that we ended up eating out on a few nights as the food left so much to be desired. Found a fantastic pizzeria/restaurant up behind the lift pass office (can't remember the name I'm afraid) |
