where to go on the 4th april

I can't remember the name of the Hotel where we stayed but remember it was next to the gondola station at the top of the hill in the village.

The Hotel Dragon has a great apres-ski bar at the bottom of the slopes and we often ended up in there and they would often have live bands in the basement bar.

Have a look at this link as it gives you all the different options available:

Chill Factore - taking a beginner?

Your are also only allowed on the main slope if you can use the poma lift and control your speed i.e anyone who can't ski is thrown off he slope without a refund. You sign a piece of paper when collecting your lift pass confirming you are able to ski.

Therefore if your taking a complete beginner they will have to book a lesson.....

Passo Tonale is a popular place for school groups to go.

Last year when we were there a couple of teachers were scouting out the hotel and I believe they were looking to book through Crystal.
Passo Tonale is ok however if you have any experienced skiers in the group then the resort will be hated as it is not extensive of challenging.

If you want somewhere that would suit all then I would recommend Cervinia as whilst there is a blue run into resort it can be challenging in places however you can easily catch the gondola back down.... There are some great wide and very easy blue runs. I learnt to ski there and would recommend it and it is great for the more experienced skier too.
April skiing in Montreal/Quebec area

Hi IrinaV and welcome to the forum.

I'm afraid that I can't really give you much advice about Mt Tremblant having never been but believe that it is a great resort with a good mix of skiing and nightlife.

I am currently spending the season at Mt-Ste-Anne and have to say that I love the place. Its a great resort for any standard of skier however the apres-ski isn't so hot if thats the sort of thing your looking for. The season ends here on the 15 April and I believe the cross country skiing will still be going till then too but not sure. If you want more info about Mt-Ste-Anne go to:http://www.mont-sainte-anne.com/1/

Quebec city is only a 30 minute drive away from here and I can say that its worth a to least a full day to visit. Quebec City is a good couple of hours drive from Mt Tremblant.
