Hi Karen

I swim to keep fit, its all I do these days, as my knees are no good for football any more. I dont train specifically for skiing, but have got to the age where I need to do regular exercise in order to keep weight off. My knees are also no good for running, so I took up swimming 3 months ago. I swim 50 lengths of my local 25m pool early each morning, thats all; nothing serious. I dont do it to time, just for distance.
Before I go skiing, I spend time working on strengthening up my core and quads by doing more sit ups and squats, but thats about it to be honest. I am not a finely tuned athlete!

I don't do anything - so that puts me to shame. :oops: :(

You're on fine form this morning Mr Brush.

Were I to ski with ear phones in, I would doubtless kick off with -

"Rolling People" - The Verve

both of which would get me right in the mood for it.
