Personally, I would not give my personal details to anyone on the slopes. What is the point?

Later in you find your ski are trashed, where is it going to get you phoning me? You have insurance for that. It's not like we are driving?

Smartski, totally agree with all of your 5 rules there. I had a similar thing happen to me this year, but it was a border hitting me from behind - I was skiing down the side of a blue run and he could not turn and rammed me up the back

We didnt lose ski or anything like that but the outcome was differnt:

Rule one: first you ask if the other is OK. [PASS]

Rule two: the up hill skier needs to give way, he apologised. [DOUBLE PASS]

Rule three: if you're skiing with a "learner" don't take them down a slope on which they can't stay in control, stop or turn in time. [PASS]

Rule four: if "Skier 1" sits down at the point of collision and "Skier 2" looses a ski, slides 75 yds down the hill, snaps one stick, bends the other…accept that "Skier 2" was out of control and don't blame "Skier 1". [not applicable, but he would probably pass]

The guy who did it to me was very apologetic (and covered in snow!)

Blame the IT Department, not Iceman ;)

Yes but can you ski in the back seat whilst also lifting 1 leg? That must take some serious muscle control ;)

At 1m 52 does Tony almost ski into someone larking around

To be honest I cant really comment accurately as I only ever stay in morzine (did I tell you I get free accommodation there?!). I obviously ski Avoriaz and the surrounding areas a lot when I am there.

The only thing I see of Avoriaz is the lifts and the yeti bar
