There are definitely points on that run where I would not like to fall
p.s Ise, the snowslider site is cool, I hadn't really checked out anything but photos until this afternoon when I realised I had an assignment due and inevitably had to put if off for as long as possible  |

The wind is actually good, my local hills (Glencoe and Nevis Range) actually catch all the wind blown snow which means plenty depth for late season skiing-even in bad years-and fresh tracks all day ;) March 6th, Glencoe
If you are clever with a computer you can look at my Flickr account through those links and check the dates that they were uploaded! I am used to Wickham putting Scotland down but I understand it for two reasons. The first being that he is stuck 8 miles south of Norwich and the second being that his only ever Scottish skiing experience was at the Lecht. |

Whistler wouldn't be my choice for learning (although I imagine with the Olympics there would be loads going on in and around town) but there are hundreds of other North American resorts to choose from should you still decide to go down that route! In March you should not be concerned with which North American resort you choose as it is generally the best month for the combination of snow conditions/temperature!

La Plagne may be good but it is definitely not a hidden gem, for a real hidden gem you need to head up the valley at a little!

I heard Tesco ready meals were the worst for containing excessive amounts of sugar, just a rumor though 8)

I would go with the Motorola purely because I have never heard of 'Cobra'. If the ranges are correct then the Cobra is a little less so yet another reason to go Moto
