Last year we had them done in Les Houches, can't remeber how much it was - no more than 20€ if even that.
There's nowhere near me that do it so made sense to have them done by the hire shop.
Really knowledgeable too....

I hope you complained. Or it just pointless?

I can't see why people argue over it anyway...except me with my husband because I have one and hate wearing it and he says I ought. And I'm sure lots of people do with their offspring because they always know better.
But personal reasons aside, everyone seems to go agree there are arguments for and against and for now it's down to personal choice.
If someone likes to feel the wind in their hair let them, and if someone feels that weari g a helmet is the safest option for them so what.

A couple of weeks ago I needed a copy of my birth certificate, which had been mislaid.
So, I googled how to order it expecting to have to turn up at the registrars where my birth was recordrd. But no, you can order online payng only a tenner.
I made a mistake in the ordering lines and put my house name in box instead of my actual name.
A few days laters copy BC turned up addressed to house name! The envelope was hand written so someone had seen it .
I was staggered that it was so easy.
