I think it is hard to seperate a taste for good wine from the taste for the good foods that wine normally accompanies. For me that started out by eating good warmed French bread with some brie or pate. Choose a wine that's light fruity and young to start, maybe an Aussie shiraz. Follow that with a simple desert of 70/80% cocoa chocolate. Each piece washed down with sips of a merlot. Soon you'l' be hooked and looking for more food/wine experiences.

I will give that a try, if not I'll settle for the chocolate desert. Oh god we,ve got no chocolate in the house, have a hankering for it now.

That looks good, should reduce travel. I will look into that, although I dont think I can get flights from Bournemouth I think we can from Southampton which is not so far away.

On my wish list of places to go is Switzerland. The only thing I can only get a week at a time off from work. Every place I have looked at trying to fly from fairly local airports the transfer time is always about two to three hours. I am of the opinion that the extra time spent travelling equals about two days of my hols. Thats why I have usually chosen Austria with short transfer time and can usually be out and about on the first day. Am I looking at the wrong resorts or is this about the norm?

Thats about it, may-be a new jacket, something with a down type lining. Am so sure its going to be a lot colder. Anything that TK Max or ebay tempts me with. Oh yes and an O'Neill scarf.

I also need some new salopettes, bought white O'neill ones last year, Hubby cant stand them, says in the snow my jacket looks like its walking around with no legs.
