Usually I would shoot you down but next week does not look great at all.. still plenty time.
Brucie wrote:In that case I might head up tomorrow. Were you skiing over by Flypaper?

The Fly was closed and will probably be closed today.. Spring Run was icy on some aspects but it is pretty obvious where you need to go to find the nice snow, doesn't take anything special. Tomorrow forecast looks similar to what it was meant to be today but today was truly fantastic.

If I didn't have a whole load of coursework to do I would definitely be going up for the morning..

If you do go, take photos!

Yes, your mate either doesn't know where to look or was skiing the wrong slopes!

RoseR wrote:This may sound dim, but is that all natural snow Pablo? or do they use cannons. I only ask as there is a lot of green around but the slopes look well covered. So jealous

Natural, a couple Scottish resorts (the Lecht and Glenshee) have limited success with making snow (without mains power it is v. expensive).

Generally in Scotland it is too warm and the air is too humid.

Um Pabs.... I love my Stormriders :D

Yeh  , I just think the whole theme is a bit daft.
When the snow melts...
I am sure some folks won't bother to venture in to the depths of the Scotland thread now so I figured I would throw up a different one too.

The big mountain in the distance (middle of picture) is Ben Nevis.

Getting deep.

Too fast, too fast.

Single seat chair?

Remember the 'Avalanche at Glencoe'? This hill,

Find an old canoe... see if it floats
