I kept planning to have a go at this but sadly my lab work kept getting in the way and now my boss has given me 50 lab scripts to mark which are going to take ages. Ah well, I’m determined to submit answers to the next one (even if they are not correct!!) :D
I did try to do the ‘women skiers quiz’ last time and seemed to be doing OK until I got to the objects in the picture – then I got completely stuck so decided it wasn’t worth submitting the few feeble answers that I had managed to coble together.
Pavel, I’d be very interested to know what the objects were in that quiz as apart from possibly suncream :?: I hadn’t a clue.

Thanks

Does anybody else have dog that can spell? Mention the “the W word”, spell out W A L K or anything along similar lines and my Jack Russell used to go ballistic. Never tried to confuse her with another language though :D

Excellent choice - winter is for skiing; summer is for riding! :D

Well, until I can afford a summer ski trip to Chile like Tino (lucky sod!) :D

Ps. Love the avatar - is this the one that caused the knee problem...?

I’ve always sworn blind that I don’t want children - I’ve no patience with most of them and seem to lack the maternal gene somewhere, but there’s an odd one that’s really special and can melt even my non-child friendly heart. :D

I’ve a feeling that Little W and Lucy would be two such children – they seem really great and I’m sure their parents are very proud (cue Ian with the smug Dad look.)

Looking at it from the other point of view, it’s great to do something you love with your parents, and I think it brings you closer together. I started horse riding when I was 4 as it was something my Mum was passionate about and it’s something we’ve enjoyed together ever since.

And it’s not necessarily all downhill from here – I’m sure you’ll still be a proud Dad when she’s 30.
Am I imagining things, or does the title of this thread keep changing? Pablo? :D

Some people, no taste...

Well, fashion never was my strong point (you only have to look at my choice of ski jacket to see that!) :D

You look a classy bird to me, mind you I do need glasses

I've been called a few things in my time, but that's a first! :D

The slopes second and third from bottom look fun – I’d probably break my neck, but would like to give it a go anyway. :D

May have to put LGb on the ‘to ski’ list. )
