Bought some battery heated undergloves...best thing I have ever bought ..in really cold weather my fingers were agony ..the heated liners stopped them getting that cold

Best thing I have ever bought for skiing was my specially made orthotic insoles ..The difference they make is unbelievable ..I couldn't ski without them.

The world cup to Selva and the Saslong are the challenging runs and a good place for lunch is the top of Dantercerpies..but you will find decent restaurants at reasonable prices all over the Sella Ronda...fantastic area ..I'm there for 3 weeks in January

Train to Zell am Zee and there is an hourly bus to Saalbach..that's if you want to get there...Some of our party went with the ski club for the day from Kaprun at the end of January and said it was OK..In Zell it was OK in the mornings but got icy in the late afternoon

"Europe Euro Traveller (Economy) = FREE checked baggage allowance of one bag per person weighing a maximum of 23kg. If you check-in a second bag (max. 23kg), then you pay £65 at the airport (or £60 on BA.com prior to online check in stage) – this charge is each way. Please note that these rates exclude flights to and from London Gatwick, which incurs an additional bag charge of £40 per bag at the airport (or £36 per bag on BA.com prior to online check-in stage) each way. If you take ski equipment* then this is now regarded as a second bag and charges apply as above. *Please be aware that a separate boot-bag would be regarded as a third bag and charges apply as above." |
