Personally I don't like most of the POCs. Just bought a new one and one of the main deciding factors (apart from the obvious fit, safety etc) was the shape. Many helmets look like you have a bucket on your head or that you are the type of person that needs to wear one all day due to medical conditions (if you know what I mean) - I think the POCs have this kind of look!
I ended up buying a Scott helmet, really streamlined and very light. Having worn it this week when it was warm I found it extremely comfortable. It does not have a big fur lined inside, which for me is far too hot Agree with all of the points above, comfort is a big factor - you will be wearing it for a many many hours each day!! |

I am off to Les Arcs 1950 on 5 March with about 6 others. We are not into big apres, but do like to have a drink for two after skiing and maybe some at night. While we are there it is also my mate's birthday.
I know LA 1950 is not a big party town, but are there any places we should be heading for? Icy |

Tonight is skiing eve. Weather for the coming week looks like there could be some good bluebird days.
Having skiing lessons for the first time in about 10 years, I need to improve from the plateu I am on. Put my b*lls off the piste or moguls breathe deeply and GO! 9.55am flight from scouse land Hurrah :) |

Based on my previous experience of you and your sarcasm I think you are not be wholly truthful there. But no loss, because as always I read your comments and think "pfft, typical comment..." ;)

For ever the optimist!
Turns out I was wrong, as are you again. When was the last time you were there to experience the conditions of this resort? |
