Great place for beginners and good intermediates. Because of the lift system it's just as quick to get back to Passo to eat unless your over at Ponti. Try La Terreta Hotel for the best Pizza's for lunch at reasonable prices. Stay clear of the mountain resteraunt up on the glasier. The Magic Bar is ok for a quick hotdog or snack but it is always busy during the day.
Toddle up to El Batte around 1730 for free snaks and a great selection of beers also lots of games for any kids on tow. Once you get over the transfer I think you will enjoy Passo. |

Apart from the fact there appear to be some visitors arriving this year could anyone update me on what the skiing is like in the area around January time. I will be with some good middle of the range skiers.

Worth looking at some of the Austrian resorts if your looking for picturesque.

Thats the one and I agree but not required for casual and biginner skiers. |

Also you only need a local pass for Passo and the ski area in the village below. The area pass is for those who want to go on the away day.
