I am getting it, Ise, loud and particularly clear. 55 dgrees is obviously my estimate - I haven't measured it for pity's sake. Someone has gone so far as to publish on the dedicated website that it is 78 degrees. Not even you can argue with the fact that they have done this - however way off the mark they might be. Good grief. |

No, they take bookings for arrival any day and I think the minimum stay is 3 days, which is pretty much the norm.

I KNOW IT ISN'T 78 DEGREES.
But some people think it is and state it as such - they are obviously wrong. I am actually agreeing with you. And don't shout - there's no need. ) |

Theres some info on the Harakiri part of the web site stating 78 degrees. I didn't make it up Ise, I just repeated what is reckoned to be the case. You can see that I totally disagree with it though. It just aint THAT steep. |

It's reckoned to be 78 degrees or something, which I find very difficult to believe. In fact I just don't believe it. Maybe 55 degrees at the steepest parts, and the section you can join two thirds down is barely red-run steep. Its also pretty wide. |

The Siegelerhof is a wonderful B and B. Of all the places I've stayed in Mayrhofen it is without doubt the best value - very well equipped and a fabulous choice of breakfast foods. Also very nice people. It has a heated and spacious boot and ski room and a nice bar. There is a ski bus stop 10 metres away! In terms of location it is 5 minutes walk from the Ice Bar and Penken Gondola. The resort website will show you loads of other places, but believe me this place takes some beating. Expect to pay around 28 Euros pp per night for a nice Austrian Twin with en-suite and balcony. Hope this helps. :D |

I use a 110 flex boot, with a narrow last, because I have low volume feet and quite thin ankles. They are very comfy and give me the fit I was after - no other softer boot has ever done this and although I would never go stiffer than 110, I have yet to try a 100 flex or softer boot to fit as well as my current pair.
However, when I do replace them I think I might try one of those specialist places like Profeet or Solutions for Feet. Has anyone any experience of them? Ideally, I would be after a slightly softer flexing boot with a really close fit - something I've never found as a standard. |
