We looked at Tremblant a couple of years ago, ended up going to Banff because we could get a better deal at that time. The flight time is shorter than Banff and we didn't have any problems even with a delay so I'm sure you will be fine, just stay hydrated on the plane.
An early deal sometimes works out cheaper than a late one as you don't incur any late booking fees, ticket delivery courier charges and you have time to source cheaper lift passes etc (try liftopia also sometimes in Canada and the US you can get cheaper tickets in "drugstores"). Tremblant is still on our to do list when the price is right. Have fun x |

It's excruciating having the darn thing dislocate every time you sit on it! Should not affect balance in humans. Mine is crap anyway! Lol. |

Usually I would be preparing for the busy tourist season but actually I'm preparing to go into hospital to get my coccyx removed! Still at least I won't miss the ski season!

I love Are! We usually go end of March/early April, always had plenty of fresh snowfall, will definately return, great tuition and very friendly if a tad expensive.

I make sure they are dry, then apply wax without scraping so the bases are protected then store them under the bed, I get them edged etc the week prior to next trip, seems to work out fine for me, be interested in what the experts have to say tho.

People talk about cruises round the med, trips to the pyramids, celebrating xmas on an Aussie beach and you find yourself thinking "sounds great, I'll do that when my knees give out completely, meanwhile, WTF? give me mountains NOW!"

If she is a kid that cries the instant she falls over then steer her more towards skis otherwise maybe let her do a taster session on both in a snowdome and let her choose, if you push skis and she would rather board it could result in a miserable time for both of you.

Does it have to be Alps? If not would be well worth considering finland or sweden, great english speaking ski schools, an all round winter holiday experience off slopes as well, yes it is colder but hey your skiing, layer up! OH took his kids to Sweden last month, they loved it! Some very good deals available via the usual T.Os, we have used Neilson as many 2for1s on kids hire/lift passes. Beer not much differant in price to the alps these days tho spirits another matter!
