ski holiday prices going up

freezywater wrote:must just be me then  Crystal and Thomson have always come up 100 quid cheaper to the same resort / same qulaity hotel than Inghams.

I booked the same holiday with Inghams and it worked out £500 cheaper than Crystal, who I usually go with. The price difference was because inghams gave a bigger discount for early bird and internet booking. We have booked a 4 person log cabin but only two of us going and crystal supplements were a lot more. We also booked 5 excursions, all artic safaris, crystal charged double for some of them, even though they were all booked with same safari company.
help needed...

Fab photo's Tino, that has definately decided me for next Oct. I think I will need to be sending PMs to a couple of you on the best places to stay etc. Have not decided whether to stay at Mayorhofen or Hintertux yet tho'.

Will we get to know at the end who the J2 skier is?
I am so nosy

I hope so. I am fascinated by someone who "lets his boys roam free", has curly hair, and who has pictures of "railroads" on some website.
Otherwise, I would have thought it was me he was talking about......

I did not phrase that right I know he was talking about Tony H, I mean who was Pav talking too.?

I dont find Inghams expensive I booked with them for January and saved £500 with the exact same holiday that I was going to book with our usual tour op.

Yes Lapland opens 15th October, but looking on webcams there does not seem to be much of the white stuff yet.

Hotel Seespitz is nice, not in the main precinct but only a few minutes walk away, so you should be nice and peaceful. It overlooks the lakes I think, although they will be frozen when you are there. But its beautiful walks all around there. Although there are ski bus,s to all three ski area,s they are all in walking distance. All the boots etc seem to be of high quality. In fact every-thing about Seefeld is quality. You will love it. We are giving it a miss this year only because my Hubby wants to go some-where different. But we shall return.
Wow Ise those mountains look fab. I definately need to be looking at an October in the mountains. My worst nightmare holiday would be on a hot sunny beach. It has no appeal whatsoever. The mountains are beckoning.
