To sell or not to sell?
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 28 Replies
DO NOT SELL, find out more about this.

It will only likely appreciate in value.

You could have a few quick ski holidays now, or own a home in a resort in a few years.

The 25k sale to undisclosed buyer could be the artist buying his own work back to limit the number of works on the market and force the price up!

To add to that, I am considering doing half of boarding hols alone this season. Get a cheap single room with balcony, central, in a non catered place (just seen one in Mayrhofen for 30 EUR a night in Feb). Take a stack of books and do what the hell I want. Really starting to realise that we (all) get so little time truely to ourselves anymore. If I wanna meet people and socialize I will do it in a bar or at dinner somewhere.

Hit and miss I am presuming...

I only did the shared chalet once last year to Val d'Isere, and I guess it was okay, the other people were about the same age and it gave us more options on the slopes with small groups splitting up due to levels etc.

The only disadvantage you have is, if you get on okay, the direction of your holiday can be taken out your hands a little.

I was with an friend. Her and the rest from the chalet finished around 3.30 and were back for afternoon tea by 4pm. I would board until last patrol or beyond, so when I got back all plans were made and I got no say in matters, spoilt it a bit for me to be honest.
I agree and I should hope not as well

The Hof is easy for me at short notice, just hop on the overnight train about 1am, and boom in Mayrhofen first thing the following day refreshed and ready to go.

I love living in central Europe, it gives you a lot of flexibility!

What Ski instructors REALLY mean...

The only instructor I had said "you use a lot less energy if you can stay on your feet" about 8 times on my first ever time on a board. I replied "no shit sherlock" walked off and taught myself.

bandit wrote:brad1138. A Chicken Vindaloo is a curry. A very hot curry. The normal process followed by a northern english male on a Friday night used to be.....

Go out for at least 10 pints of beer, then.....

Stagger round to a curry house on the high street to get a takeaway, because all that drinking made you really hungry, then......

Order the hottest curry on the menu, after a dare from your mates, then.....

Fall asleep face first in the curry. Wake up eventually with no recollection of buying the curry, and try and get the dog to eat it

Have you been spying on me?

Coming from Newcastle, this made me giggle!
