Thats what I thought. Hubby got his own back when we came back from Innsbruck. Waiting at baggage carousel every so often a boot shot through the baggage opening and booted cases, boot bags and ski's. My Hubby went through an open door at the side and threatened the handler with some-thing like, 'he will be the next item appearing on the baggage carousel on the end of his boot'. The luggage came through very gracefully after that.

Will the cold affect a camera, memory card batteries etc? Are there such things as insulated camera bags?

Many years ago my son travelled to Jersey with a group to play tennis, they all had their suitcases but had racket bags, they were told to take them on as hand luggage because their insurance would not cover for damage in the hold.

Plus most places in Finland/Lapland has its own personal sauna. Yippee, sauna as nature intended and not having to look at others anatomy :lol:

You can actually buy the scent that they use to train sniffer dogs to find drugs from a well known biotech company.....we were very tempted to play a practical joke on our boss and cover his luggage in some..... :twisted:

I can think of a few people I would like to do that to. :lol:
