Was it because the starting intervals were shorter after the first 30 or so?

It's the ski label of Lasse Kjus, former Norwegian downhiller, Brimster.

If you have to pay for it, cheap is not a word that springs to mind.

I hope you're right Pablo, but it is the BBC we're talking about!

Watching the Olympic coverage, I see the BBC have spent our money on Kjus gear for the presenters - top end price range gear at our expense? Why?!

You may get away with leaning back on a shallow pitch, BUT I can assure you that you will not get away with doing so on anything steeper!

If your speed is OK, your tips will naturally come towards the surface.
If you're landing at 11 am you won't be on the road before midday. Even with a good clear run you'd struggle to get to La Tania in 90 minutes - it's half way between Courchevel 1300 and Meribel, so C1300 would be a better bet, but you wouldn't get there before 1.30 pm at the earliest, more likely 2 pm.

Annecy is a great place to stop if you want to break the journey, but you can't ski there!

I'd head straight to Tignes myself and settle in having shopped in Bourg.

If you want to do the bob in La Plagne, why not do it one evening whilst you're away - it would take you about an hour or so to get there from Tignes.
Moving weight forward

Where are your hands? Get them well forward and your weight will head that way too.
Have then down by your sides and you'll lean back.
