I can't recommend Obergurgl enough for your needs. It's the highest resort in Austria, ski in ski out, fantastic ski school, perfect for beginners, linked with Hochgurgl which is full of beautiful motorway blues, lovely village, one and a half hours from innsbrook, yada, yada, yada.

Niederau is supposed to be rather good too :D
