Aubergine Betty Rides jacket, white roxy sallo's. Or Khaki green with white flowers o'Neil jacket with cream O'Neil sallo's. A variety of hats, wool or fur. Plus will be hiring thermal boots and suits in Finland, have no idea what they will look like, probably end up looking like a right dipstick.

If you put any kind of lube on them, make sure it is not something that will react with the plastic.

You Could try some Armor All or a silicon based lubricant.

Trencher

You could try K-Y jelly, that wont react with plastic :

Um...I think K-Y Jelly is water soluble...so unless you carry a tube with you )

Yes it is water soluble, its just that I have to reccomend it all day long I just could not resist on here

I did buy hubby some socks, they look ok, time will tell. Also bought a couple of base layer fleece, they are the softest fleece I have ever felt. Our Lidls had every-thing, bags, watchs, helmets, goggles. But then again I do not know a single person, apart from my neighbour who ski's.

In a Top Gear stylee.......

Some say he that the government consults him on travel logistics,
Others say he gives them rubbish advice because the country has no fun!
All we know, is he is called Christmas Man

Apologies to a lot of the Americans as Top Gear references may or may not be as amusing.

Running slightly off thread my mums village declared that there would be no childrens christmas nativity play last year again because of the multi-cultural/multi-religious thing. She was so insensed she wrote to the house of commons (she does this quite a lot it makes her feel better). The reply on house of commons headed paper suggested that she was being slightly racist wanting a traditional english christmas activity.

Good beginners resort in Europe

I would class Seefeld/Austria a fantastic beginners place. Short transfer from Innsbruck, 3 seperate area's to ski, and nursery slopes completely seperate from the main. Great ski schools and hire shops.
