The one with the metal staircase looks like it was taken across the road from the AlpenRose Hotel, close to the river and KM lift?

Vincentus wrote:Steep runs are the norm? Okay, that tells me something. I read the
British ski magazines and try to read between the lines of each
resorts facilities. In OZ the ski resorts are at Thredbo, Hotham,
Falls Creek and Buller in Victoria. Thredbo is 2037 and Buller, my
nearest is 1823m. The green runs are short at Buller, i have not
done all of them but Thredbo seems to have longer runs.
I know, childs play.

There are lots of steep runs but plenty of variation with most resorts, as with anywhere you will get steep runs and ones that aren't so steep. The mountains in all different areas of Europe are completely different.
Which resort in La Plagne

Was in Sainte Foy at the end of January and the weather was perfect, cold was not an issue (-10 or something was the lowest temperature experienced).

We did flights+transfers+accommodation (full chalet board, unlimited wine and beer) +lift pass for about £550. Probably spent £600 for the whole week in total. Remember in the same area you have Les Arc/La Rosiere/Tignes/Val d'Isere!

Despite living in Andorra Gordon is an avid fan of sports, his favourite football team is Plymouth Argyll. Here is a photo of a recent trip back home:
