it must be the same as lessons, ski hire and ski passes. The package company adds soooo much on top. I've booked directly ever since since my first ski holiday and have saved quite a lot of money (relatively!).

I can't even begin to think about the amount of time I've spent reading my "wtss 2009" since I got back from holiday on friday. I even managed to get it picked up from work and was reading it on the way back from the airport!!!

ps. admin, I'm missing my smilies [happy face]

I think you're definitely better off across the pond as some british schools will be on half term and quite a lot of france will be too so it'll be a tad on the busy side!

Haven't been there myself though (yet) so can't recommend anywhere I'm afraid.

What do you reckon...

7 years old, first time with charcoal, sketching the mountains, moon, sea and sand. (I think he's trying please me with the mountains and the husband with the sea!)

I am just hoping everyone likes skiing and I will not be going during the school hols next time. I will take the kids out of shcool.

hopefully we will be able to pick up a bargain too.

then again if it all goes pear shaped I will be advertising for a ski buddy on here cause whether they like it or not I will be continuing going skiing for the forseeable future even if it is on me own! lol

Good for you. I always did, and it made for quieter pistes, and cheaper holidays.

if only it were that easy. I can't take my eldest out of school any more.

I could talk forever about a young man I knew who succumbed to mnd last year. He was a big ski enthusiast, rugby player, fantastic father and husband, you name it.

We should all thank goodness for our own health.

If we want to get back onto "exciting" things again: my spirits have been lifted today by my 7 year old. He has somehow realised that he wants to draw with charcoal so we bought him some today. The result is quite a shock. It's made us all very excited! We're now googling the spray you can buy to make it last. Anyone know?

high: yesterday I was on the beach and ate the best gambas pil pil I've had in my life.

low: I'm now back in "sunny" england and can't even bring myself to unpack (ying yang bandit?)

low: I'm back on my home computer and have no smilies.

surreal: my eldest starts at senior school on tuesday. He's now got a laptop, mobile phone and front door key. It's pretty scarey!
