If you are driving to Austria this year you can now buy the vignette online...BUT you MUST purchase at least 18 days before as they seem to have a problem with cooling off periods..laughable

you just take out the boot liner and replace the insole that is in it with the new one..then put back the boot liner ....simples! I was told that the made to order moulded ones are not really suitable for every day use so I just leave them in my boots..but I have been using the same ones for 13 years

I stayed in Kaprun in January which is part of Zell and quite enjoyed the place the bus service in either direction was excellent and it is an ideal place to stay to enable skiing in either resort. The run down to Schuttedorf in Zell was great early on but in the evening it became very icy and was filled with falling beginners as it is supposedly the easiest way down …I found the most convenient way down was the run down the under the City Express lift ..there is a blue trail but the black isn't that bad and the benefit is that you can catch the bus in the centre of Zell with no queues ..by the time it gets to Schuttedorf its crammed..Kaprun , which is on the same lift pass is much more open glacier skiing if that is to your taste and as I said the us service is excellet
A nice place great for a weeks skiing ..
