Aimee Fuller had the chance to put down an easier run which would probably have been enough to scrape into bronze. She gambled on a harder run and went for gold. She gets my respect for having the bottle to risk all, go big or go home.
She is young and will be back in 4 years, benefitting from the funding boost to freestyle.
It was Chemmy's goal to return from a series of horrific injuries to ski at the Olympics. 19th might be nowhere in terms of the medals, but from a personal achievement it's massive and should be applauded as such.
Our alpine programme has no central funding, it's going to be many years before you see another UK skier matching that result.

Not to be, capable of bigger tricks than that, but the injury held him back. Got a feeling from Woodsy' interview that the trick he crashed in training was something very special. He seemed a little put out at the suggestion that he was trying a triple.

Bit to do in the final run. Woodsy sitting in 4th after one run.

Looks like he's aggravated his hip injury in the second run, fingers crossed he's ok for the final.
