If you didn't realise the tunnel bit at the start of the video goes under the altiport runway.
Stewart, you'll be pleased to know that coming back you can ski to the bottom and catch the lift from there, missing out the down part. |

Free Ski Carriage is something we always make sure we get included, (not difficult to negotiate when you book 30 places). Always make sure I have it in writing for the ski carriage gestapo though!

Back in 1989, the lift company rushed the construction and cut some corners. During the final tests the car detached from the wire fell 200m killing 8 employees.
