Sounds like half a plan, youngAndy.

When I finalise my winter plans, I will let you know. However, meeting up with more J2skiers sounds really good.

I think I exist...

Dobby, I faced a similar situation, when I returned from Colorado, and then made an end of season trip to Niederau. The flight to Munich landed late. Stay at Munich airport? Train to Kufstein, stay over then train to Worgl, next day? I ended up hiring a car, arriving late in Niederau, but they left the cellar door unlocked.

That flight, plus my January Niederau flight, were both early. However, our February Geneva return and our March Denver return flights were both significantly delayed. No big issue with the Geneva flight, we just got to bed late. But it was 3 hours late.

The Denver take off was also delayed by 2 hours. Fortunately, we had sufficient buffer time at Heathrow to absorb this.

The point of relating the season flights, is that delays will happen, and they are out of your control.

My suggestion would be that should you choose the linked flights, that you book them as a single booking. In the event of delay, the outcome does not add cost. However, I suggest that you focus on how to work with the single flight.

Billip, didn't know if I should have pressed "like" against your full stop.....

However, very much in tune with the standards of the subject....

I should move if I were you Dave.....

Andy, given 47 years since I first landed in Niederau, and that I always spend the middle of January there, that is unlikely.

However, the possibility of a drive over is a distinct possibility, and I would really like to meet up with other J2skiers.
I share the same lift pass, (Kitz Allstar). I also do a few days drive out each January anyway, Westendorf, Kitzbuhel, St Johann. The Tuesday is normally the Hahnemkamm downhill practice day.

Of course the J2skiers could always bring a chara over to Niederau....

Mmmm, well you are getting closer.

Last year you were two and a half hours away. This year, just one and a half hours away. Do I take the two one and a half hour drives, or do I wait another season for you to get closer???

Wouldn't accept my answers either, Lota.

7 answers? But there were only 6 on offer.
Answered, with most responses in the final column, would not accept.

"What other facilities and activities would you be interested in when on a ski holiday?"

Golf,
Zip-lining,
Whitewater rafting.
Paintballing.
Bowling Alley.

That is brilliant, Billip.

I too buy a season pass most years for varying sizes of areas, (up to Tirol level) Two visits, 3 weeks total justify the cost. I go to other resorts, and buy the pass, unfortunate, but that is life!

I take skis to Austria, and also buy them there, and store them locally ~ in a cellar, 60m from the lift! I even have two pairs of skis in Australia, although, it is conceivable their rightful place may be in the Macquarie Museum..... Also, one pair in Colorado, now, I suspect in the Dillon museum. At one stage, when clearing my loft in preparation for 3ft of loft installation, I put 6 pairs of skis in our local tip.....

I think your friend has it all. Showing little allegiance to an individual resort, can only mean that his number one priority is .... just skiing!

Your friend is outstanding! I feel like an amateur!

Billip. this is an odd request, the SR is a lengthy circuit. Which village?
Surely for a season, you leave your skis in your accommodation cellar?
