If you are a bit intimidated get a private lesson. You won't start by using a lift, usually just on a relatively flat area of snow to just get used to sliding etc. This means you won't be exposed (shut it, Wickham) on the mountain or in any real danger whatsoever.

Search on the forum at www.tetongravity.com , it is a goldmine of information if you can sift through the sh*t. I wouldn't hesitate to go for even a week for the skiing (never having been myself). There are plenty resorts to look at in both Argentina and Chile.

Couldn't find my car keys so I think I might just sit in and watch Britain's Got Talent on the flat screen and post randomly on the internet from my macbook whilst deciding what phone to upgrade too now my contract has run out. What do you think Ian, Blackberry? ;)
