I just watched this on catch up. The bravery shown by that family with everything thatt they have had to contend with is astonishing. Kevin's Down Syndorme brother was the star of the show.
The dedication of these athletes who go and do these amazing things, knowing the risks the take, is humbling. Like TonyH says (and Kudos to you Tony for having an open mind) - anyone who watches this will see a different side of the helmet debate (I'm not trying to open up a wibble discussion, contentious or not - simply stating a fact). Some of the crashes shown from Shaun White etc that show the helmet being thrown off the head by the impact make you shudder to think what would happen without the helmet there in the first place A brilliant film - see it now! |

Though it has been stated that they are being supported in the case by Crystal, Inghams, Mark Warner etc so if this was the ESF plan then it may they have bitten off more than they can manger! |

I'd agree with that - had someone take mine a few years ago from the hotel. problem was that my 169s were gone and I was left with a pair of 143s I'd love to see the 5'3", 8stone woman try and turn my skis..... (I do have little feet so her boots may have fit). The hire shop gave me new ones no bother and said it happens all the time I too have never had / heard of skis being nicked - though we do usually split and then split again when stopping at lunch/pub |

There are plenty of alternatives - lots of them not in Oxfordshire but in and around London as per OP request -) |

fair enough BB but I did say that we are "more disposed" to comment on bad - not that we are exclusively doing so
the review I'll be writing of BA after getting me stuck in Arizona for an additional 24 hours will be a case in point..... |

I'm loathe to put much store in what TA says to be honest: as a nation we Brits are more disposed to speak out about (perceived)bad experiences than to praise good ones so TA is, inherently, biased in a bad way
As people have said you need a good number of reviews to get a meaningful sample but, IMHO, you'll still get a higher percentage of people who had a problem make a comment than those who didnt so the view will be skewed I've just returned from a work trip to Arizona and the hotel, conference centre and the golf course all got very mixed reviews from the US citizens but we Brits who were there all loved it! |
