edges

It was just a thought and of course terrain does vary a lot so changing them over mid piste is not really practical..However one thing that has been pointed out is that it is the inside edges that get trashed quickly so maybe there is some point to marking and swopping skis over mid holiday so as use a better edge after the first ones are dulled??

I have wondered if it is possible to have a different edge angle on each side of the ski..as it is the downhill ski that we are sking on... so if we had "left" and "right" skis and (for example) had 1 degree on one edge and 3 degrees on the other you could swop them over according to conditions?? bad idea? or mad idea?
OTG goggles

I too wear glasses and it is an absolute nightmare the otg goggles seemed fine in the shop but on the mountain... the main thing is to keep both goggles and glasses at the same temp.. as Bandit says dont park the goggles on your head.. and then put them over your cold glasses..instant fog!!
I am currently looking at adidas climacool which have rx optical inserts expensive but if you search a lot can get them for around £150 ...or wear contacts.!

Glad you had a good time Tony, I agree the skiing was fantastic... the best conditions ever ..nice to see you there and a great pity we couldnt ski together. I felt sorry for you stuck in the town with no gear when the snow was so good...... hopefully next time all will be well!!
