Its very steep at the top and not wide..when it is soft after snow its not too bad at all but still a definite black.
The moguls can get to the size of cars at the top due to the heavy traffic and the first couple of turns are the worst. When it is icy it is very scary and dangerous.. people have been killed attempting it.. if you fall the danger is bouncing off the moguls to the bottom. However it is likely to be closed if this is the case. The point being it can range from the easy to the insane according to conditions. I originally posted because I have skied it in different conditions and at the time it was really nice and soft..I am not saying I am a good skier but we found it quite a good experience! |

Anyone in the Avoriaz/Morzine area thinking about doing the Swiss wall?
Me and Snowb4ndit did it a couple of times today and conditions were blissful! ..nice and soft and moguls were tame compared to normal.. powder also off to the left and right (check those avalanche warnings first!!) |

I find it ironic that water is 3 euros and a demi is 2.50 euros on the slopes in PDS. Evian is just down the road and mountain spring water comes out of the tap!

There is a circuit that people do in the Port de Soleil takes from first lift to last lift if you are reasonably fast

I like the fact that the little red dot is still floating about when you go to a "snow report" page ...have a look ..slightly left/bottom of centre ...moves when you scroll!
