It's not just young lads I'm afraid Snapzzz - I have to confess that four of us - how shall I put it - more mature skiers in Austria last week decided we wanted to be in our own bubble, so simply exaggerated how old and stiff and slow we were and took a VERY long time getting into the gondola. It worked :D
I would add that it wasn't busy and not many people behind us! |

We finally got home at about 1 this morning - exhausted but relieved as I hear the problems at Gatwick yesterday morning were horrendous.
Our trip to Waidring worked out really well and the area is lovely and friendly and had much more skiing than we had expected. The Steinplatte has some quite long cruisey blues and reds and several excellent cafes/restaurants which were all friendly and good value. Bus service seemed good and fairly easy to get to other villages. Particularly enjoyed scenic trip to Fieberbrunn and the skiing there is superb. |

Do use the 'facilities' in the Hospizalm in St. Christoph - there is an interesting alternative to stairs!
