using a drag lift

very weirdly, we were just talking about this.

we're in the chalets right in front of the Almes "rocket" drag lift in Tignes at easter. has anyone else had experience of this lift because I've only got my husband's word for it and i'm wondering if he's over reacting when he says he doesn't want the boys to go on it again?

I'm afraid I have no such stories but wondered if this is the most off thread we've ever got? :hunf:

Decent socks are vital and worth spending a bit on imho. Don't anybody, ever, bother with the foot and blister hell that is the tube sock.

I'm with the sock people.

I'm due for some new ones as I wear them all year round (my comfort blanket) and they're wearing a bit thin. I absolutely love my salomons (they've got falke sk1w written on the bottom). Does anyone have a good suggestion for what to replace them with?

sorry ise, off thread.
