Sunday equals roast beef, lamb or chicken plus alpine skiing.

so, where's chemmy? it took me an age and a half to find out why she wasn't competing in aspen. in fact, her website didn't even give away any information. so, now i know she has a broken ankle how long until she's back?

I feel a slight affinity to her as we only have one letter different in our surnames. silly, I know but if I were only one tiny weeny little bit as good as her

by the way, where did that dog come from???

I have been on one or two which could easily leave a chap with a voice an octave or two higher!

Only advice I can give is to ride them with your skis flat. The problem some beginners have is edging their skis in a bit of a snowplough, a recipe for disaster.

having questioned the husband further, he's telling me that it's bl**dy awful at the start and then ok until about half way and then it's actually ascending a black, in other words bloomin effing steep and just a little bit too fast

maybe it's not the best "ski out" option...

not a hotel but a chalet...

it was supposed to sleep 32 but there were 27 of us and we were very, very cramped. the "cook" had a chest infection and we kindly witnessed her coughing into our food and, consequently, at least 6 of our group ended up very ill. the boot room (hallway) was big enough for two people. lots of other people seemed to have rooms in our "private" chalet so they were continually trapsing in and out and actually eating our leftovers too.

not good. funnily enough, the most expensive ski holiday we've ever been on.
