La Daille does look a good base to be honest. I toyed with the idea too but figured it would be really busy. I know the 3v will be just as bad but i thought that maybe La Tania would be off the beaten track enough to be bearable.

Its the prices mate, new year is scandalous. Decent hotels in decent areas are 3-4k. Apartments in La Tania are half that.
Bloody kids and there need for schooling.

Anyone have any experience of La Tania? There are some really good prices for new year week and i would love to ski the 3V.

I am just a little concerned that at 1400m it could be a risky venture for early season....

Opinions?
