In the Zermatt thread you suggested some alternatives, why would they be suitable?
From the other thread we need, Ease of access Range of accommodation options Reasonable nightlife Range of skiing terrain from Beginner-->Easily accessible off piste terrain (guides available) Feel free to add to these (just off the top of my head). |

Why don't we step it back to a discussion on location if folks still aren't sure, some serious discussion about location short of just rattling off names could be good. Zermatt works for me though...

Zermatt is easily accessible by train... did it for a weekend in May!
