I knew the planes were old before I went, but I guessed it would be okay. I am a nervous flyer so I probably notice things a bit. Our plane was an hour late leaving Gatwick as the plane was first coming in from France but had, had technical probs that had to be repaired hence we were late. The seats were as Tony said, the lights flickered continually, the loos at the front did,nt work, the door seal was shot to pieces and the draft blew in, the inner rim of our window fell out, so Hubby being a glazier put it back in place and had to use his jacket against it so that the wind did,nt whistle through. There were paint bubbles all over the place that with change of altitude kept exploding. An old bakelite switch burnt out. The in flight meal was a package with the usual wipe and plastic cutlery with an apple which had a maggot in and a biscuit. One cup of tepid coffee, as the water would not heat any more. Bearing in mind that to Finland is a 4hr flight. Any way landed had a fabulous holiday.
On return flight when it landed had huge blocks of ice on windscreen and we were told there would be delay as the heating in the cockpit had failed. The plane was delayed for 24hrs, thankfully we were taken back to resort and put up in a nice hotel, so actually had an extra day.
Boarded the plane which was exactly the same one we flew in on, so same problems on the way back, except Hubby had the maggotts in his apple this time. But where they had fixed the heating it was like a sauna, the sweat absolutely poured off me for 4hrs. So not for me I', afraid.

Fly at the beginning of feb and a 2 Adults and one child comes to £245 return.
Fly at half term and its just over £900 return.......WTF????
No thanks, not when I can get a 4 star catered chalet in St Anton with flights and transfers for £600 and half price lift passes.

I would,nt ever fly Jet 2 ever again
I wouldn't go that far, but they are fairly s**t.

I would, so much so we cancelled our 2nd ski holiday last month because I wont get on one of their planes, scared the life out of me.

Very nice. I am trying to persuade Hubby to renew our vows at one of the ice chapels in Lapland.
