Think you'll have a quieter apres ski in Grindelwald tino. Will be there 10th Jan. Am itching to go. Enjoy

Hey Jim,

Got back from Grindelwald last night....truely awesome place.

Glad I did my riding on Christmas and Boxing day. I chose to take the morning of the 27th off and go to the Jungfraujoch (which was spectacular) but by the time arrived back at Kleine Scheidegg it was like the Metro Centre a week before Christmas.....I actually felt unsafe on the piste it was that busy

All in all, somewhere everyone should go, even for a few days.

I am jelous you still have it to come.

And the apres ski is not too bad, you just need to know where to look )

Thats a classic Rose :D I have a mate who does that kind of thing so often, but he is so quick he acts like everything is normal which confuses the hell out of people

I just had a BA check-in guy at Heathrow ask me if I had a drink last night, I replied honestly and said no, he looked at me funny and I told him I had 12. He just kind of stared at me and passed me my boarding card back.

The champagne in the First Lounge aint half bad mind )

Off to Glasgow for Hogmanay and from there to St Anton!!

Happy holidays all, and a fantastic snow filled new year.
As far as snow in Mayrhofen goes, I got back on the 21st and they had just had bucketloads of the stuff. The base is good from the lower slopes at the Tux all the way to Mayrhofen. Allthough fresh stuff is always nice, there is plenty enough to ski on.
Merry Christmas to you all

Grindelwald tomorrow
Have you got yourself sorted now?

S'cuse me?

I am all sorted. Trains booked, hotel booked, runs planned, beers imagined, songs rehearsed...everything!!!

I arrive about 6pm on the 3rd....

Located only a few meters from the cable car NASSEREINBAHN and the skischool ARLBERG and about 5 walking minutes from the main center (pedestrian zone) of St. Anton, our hotel garni (bed&breakfast) offers a peaceful ambience … cosy and welcoming atmosphere in our rooms and suites as well as in our relaxing spa and Vitality area!

So when do you lot arrive then?
Seems there is gonna be a few of us in St. Anton!!!!!

Grindelwald tomorrow
