I wouldn't buy them without trying them on (then again you could send them back if they were no good). There must be a reason they are not full price, the don't look £60 worth of goggles to me.

I am a goggle snob, not tried anything cheaper in the last few years and I won't in the near future. They are not a huge expense and with Oakley warranties they could effectively last forever (haven't heard of a change since they have been purchased by luxotica...). If I go away from Oakley it will probably be to Smith.
Same with sunglasses although I did have Ray Bans this summer and would probably have another pair. |

Should put up something on the ski club board/website looking for people who want to go... bet you'd get a few people and you could just book a hotel/chalet or whatever. I still haven't arranged my skiing for the season :( |

Does your Uni not have a ski club? Usually they are pretty good trips and cheap. Especially good if you want to drink more than you ski ;)
