I am not 100% definate, but I think in the past Mayrhofen closes down to a great extent after Snowbombimg which this year is March 29th thro' April 6th. This is earlier than usual and a quick check of the lift operator shows a final date of 19th of April.

The Hintertux Glacier is open 365 days a year.

Mayrhofen and St. Anton, the latter being far more expensive than Grindelwald.

The Euro is doing well against the CHF, maybe the GPB is not fairing as well )

I think Switzerland in general is a good idea at the moment financially speaking. Grindelwald was the cheapest of my 3 Christmas snowboard trips.

Now then Tony, I guess in your line of employment that you do a fair amount of driving. I hope you don't fly down the M6 weaving in and out of three lanes?
