If you want for a varied condition I would go Black Iridium. They are not bad when it snows and excellent in the sun.
I have this lens on my Oakley Wisdoms. Got HI Yellow on my Crowbars and they are eye damagingly bright when it's sunshiney. Only good for low light. |

I use goggles all the time (exc Apres), got 2 pairs-1 for when it is sunny and 1pair for when it is dull.
Wearing sun glasses when skiing prevents a number of issue.s. |

I think you should get fitted, maybe someone else could chime in with a good boot fitter in the Nottingham area?
If you are going to invest in one thing make it a properly fitted ski boots-don't think I can emphasise this enough. Seefeld looks like a nice place.. I hope you get the white stuff (snow  )) |

I would get boots fitted. If one thing is going to improve your skiing by a large amount instantly it will be expertly fitted boots. Where are you location wise?

Booking direct is a good idea. If you are stuck for something to do in Banff with the kids then somethings up-there are plenty activities.
Get on the phone to Banff International hotel, Banff Park Lodge or the Mount Royal they are as central as your going to get and can probably sort you out with something to cater to your needs (they will probably go to extra lengths to try and accommodate you). Banff SPrings is a bit out of town (15 minute walk) but might be worth the extra money/distance as far as the kids are concerned, there is an ice rink, bowling and a big pool, plus you have the bonus of staying in one of the best 5* hotels about. If you are booking it yourself I have used the Banff Airporter quite a few times and they are great for transfers. As for eating the kids will love the Spaghetti Factory (unless they hate spaghetti but then they wouldn't be real kids  ) Saltlik is fantastic for a bit of a classier meal-serves some of the best steaks in Banff. |

Rocky Mountain condos are a mile out. How old are the kids? There is literally so much info I could give you about Banff I would actually be here forever but if you have any specific questions I would be happyto advise.
