We are fortunate to still have a studio in St Gervais, We love Megeve, we can drive there in 20mins or ski over from St G. Yes the restruants are expensive both in the town and up the mountian. I could take you to a nice reasonable crepe house just off the beaten track in the town centre but can't remember what is called :) But on a sunny day get as far over as you can from the Alpetthut and the skiings fantastic and not too busy, because people can't be bothered to traverse that far over. I think one long red run is called "Jardine" its fast plenty of rolling jumps a super run )

Yea sorry state, at least using Don you might get preferential treatment, even if you are having to go through a third party :-)

Daughter started out in D2B because we bought it for her aged 13, she didn't complain about it (well not much for a teenager) has now progressed onto a lovley bright pink jacket top of the range O'Neil jacket which she bought herself which she wears at home a lot. Not much to choose between them technically though its all about the brand )

Bandit, sorry to hear you didn't manage the VB what happend? I did Mt Blanc this Summer with the St Gervais guides, I think Don uses them as they are all local and I would recommend them.( A lot of the guides do both ski guiding and climbing) I recommeded Don for anyone that does not speak good French. He will sort out the whole package for you )

Hi Bandit, that's correct he is a Ski Teacher, but he always takes a Qualified guide with his party's. If you give him a ring he will always give some good advice. :-)
