I took out extra insurance because I knew we were going to be doing more than skiing. Then found out that all the smow mobiling, ice carting etc all had insurance in the price. I get all my insurance through the Pharmaceutical Society as I have to have extensive public liability insurance and they do deals to all members for travel insurance etc.
Toboganning and sleding usually mean the same thing.

Never had a problem, always take a double board bag, with boths boards, 2 pr boots and a few sallo's and jackets. Only pay 1 carriage fee, its never been checked or weighed to my knowledge.
Now my hand luggage thats another matter. Have usually left from Bournemouth, I always have to empty my rucksack and they go through every-thing. This year flew from Gatwick and the only things in my rucksack were, small handbag, hat, gloves and scarf. I got stopped, bag emptied, rucksack and mobile phone swabbed and tested for drugs. So to come back we filled my rucksack with our smelliest socks, they never checked.

Could he not tell them he had holidays booked? most companies ask that question at interview?
Karen

He could of told them, but decided against it as a training and induction course was already booked and he felt that the first person that could comply would have got the job. But no worry we are still on a high from last weeks hols and theres plenty more to be had.

Oooh, poor Rose  ........You are a very supportive partner, and you have earned big points for your sacrifice )

I would have gone without him!

It's a great snow season, and there is loads of time left, so don't sulk, plan :D

I thought about it but it would be no fun without him. Also I would love to persuade my son that Winter hols are good. I am planning already, and with more money coming in who knows how many more hols we can get.

Help me decide & marriage!

I have recently seen a dvd of a couple that got married in an ice chapel, some-where in Lapland, looked lovely and so romantic. The honeymoon was their ski holiday. Wish I'd thought of it. Congratulations.
