Boot Bags as cabin luggage

in this instance we didn't have a huge amount of choice. I'm very surprised at the lack of scheduled flights into innsbruck. we're very close to stansted and have to trek to gatwick in the middle of the night

I must say, I refuse to be caught up in all the kerfuffle. when I'm on holiday I chill 8), so no scrums for me. what happens, happens.

in that case, ellistine, when you go to obergurgl you must visit the nederhutte on one of their evenings (was tuesdays and thursdays when we were there). pistebashers up and back, food, band, impromptu singing, lots of dancing on tables and pretending to play inflatable electric guitars . wear a t-shirt :!:

at the risk of sounding completely ignorant I always assumed it was because in hire shops you're standing on those holey mats which the tip would go through. may have become universal for this reason?

eh???

I know everyone feels differently but here's my two penneth's worth.

we are two adults (with boot bags) and two kids, therefore, we're allowed four bags. we pack the boots in their bags padded out with socks, thermals, underwear, etc and they go in the hold with the other two bags.

I'm going to have to rethink next week as the boys aren't coming . maybe we could get away with just the boot bags as it's only for 3 nights, hmmmm :?:
