I need reading glasses..albeit not powerful ones and to focus on a screen at 3" is difficult ..and as ise says in high light you cant see it clearly anyway! and don't you find that looking through a viewfinder that you are somehow more involved in the composition |

I am looking for hotels in resorts that offer inclusive lift passes at certain times ...for instance Obertuern on the week before xmas...another option is to go for 2 weeks ,,,a big saving one transfer and one flight which about covers the cost of the pass

just a thought Mr Admin why not a picture section...skiing and photography seem to go together..and if everyone used flikr or the like it wouldn't take much bandwidth if that would be a problem

I like the snowy evening one ..that's why I didn't buy an SLR...why don't they make them smaller (like the old Canon 110 I really loved mine)

only in the summer..took 11 hours via Lille and Luxembourg(less tolls) from the coast ..(1 driver and cheaper fuel in Lux)..I would not think you would need chains unless you go higher..its 660 miles so you can work out the fuel

I use an Casio Exilim Pro EX-P700 I bought a couple of years ago ....i get excellent results but would have liked something a mite more pocketable but cant find a camera with a viewfinder ....why have they stopped making them!!

what can I say :thumbup: except I am extremely jealous ...Austria is wonderful but the skiing in France is better and higher at this time of year ...I was in Val Thorens and the amount of runs in the 3 Valleys (600k)is unmatched
